Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Perrin opens with a gentle black cherry bouquet with hints of raspberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mild cherry and crushed stone blend with notes of oak. I also detected hints of cranberry and red currant. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. This wine would pair well with rustic foods like shepherd's pie and beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A great vintage for Vinsobres in 2017. With great elegance, it reveals all the richness of its soil, marked by beautiful Syrah on limestone. Well balanced and complex in the mouth, it offers a nice acidity, freshness and a hint of bitterness reminiscent of limestone.
