Wine Review: This slightly opaque dark ruby colored wine opens with a blackberry and black cherry like bouquet with hints of new leather, graphite and black olive. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced between its acidity and fruit. The flavor profile is a tasty plum and mineral blend with hints of cherry-cola, green olive and oregano. The finish is dry and its dusty mineral influenced tannins linger and stick around for a while. This wine would pair well with a pan-fried skirt steak with shallot butter. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This 2016 Vinsobres has delicate notes of fresh black fruit and mild sweet spices. The generous mouth offers an elegant tannic texture full of finesse and ends with a lot of character, firm mild mineral.
