Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Evidence opens with a pencil lead and boysenberry bouquet with hints of cedar, violets, and black currant. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and savory. The flavor profile is a juicy black plum and graphite blend with notes of tart red cherry and black raspberry. We also detected hints of cinnamon, craisin, and Earl grey tea. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with beef brisket or a blue cheeseburger. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: A very long front-to-back palate experience with a full-frontal nose of fruit, fruit, fruit! Blue, black, and red fruit are noticeably present along with long, silky tannins for a very balanced structure. Earth, pencil shavings, and tar are ever-present in its breadth, as this wine is not only long on its linger, but boldly splashes over the sides of the tongue and fills in all the blanks.
