Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Pinot Blanc from Etude opens with a mild Anjou pear and lychee bouquet with hints of light lemon zest and grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, mouthwatering, and juicy. The flavor profile is a gentle Juicy Fruit gum and Anjou pear blend with notes of honeydew melon and ginger tea. We also detected a touch of vanilla, lychee and white pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot Blanc with a baked halibut. Enjoy - KWGTP
