Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Pinot Gris from Etude opens with a wet stone and pineapple bouquet with hints of pear, saline, and lychee. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, creamy, slightly viscous, and fresh. The flavor profile is a flinty minerality and Anjou pear blend with notes of white pepper and lime zest. We also detected hints of white tea and light vanilla. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely refreshing. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot Gris with raw Wellfleet oysters or chilled crab from the seafood tower. Enjoy - KWGTP
