Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Etude opens with a fragrant black currant and black licorice bouquet with hints of fresh mint, violets, and black cherry-cola. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, supple, and fresh. The flavor profile is a black currant and dark chocolate blend with notes of black cherry, oak, and black licorice. We also detected hints of cinnamon and black raspberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and refined mild tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a filet mignon or Chateaubriand. Enjoy - KWGTP
