Wine Review: This pale coral colored wine made from Pinot Noir grapes was the clear winner in our recent blind tasting. It opens with a wild strawberry and baked apple pie bouquet with hints of craisin and hibiscus tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, pleasantly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral influenced blood orange and wild strawberry blend with hints of mango puree and peach. The finish is dry, extended and refreshing. The Panel would pair this Rose with Rick’s shrimp cocktail, a ham and gruyere soufflé or a lobster salad. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Elegant, restrained and alluring, this rosé is full of fresh cut strawberry, raspberry and perfumed cherry blossom aromas on the nose, while the palate shows lifted ripe fruit flavors of strawberry crème and blood orange, alongside subtle hints of jasmine flowers. This rosé has substance and balance, with mouthwatering acidity, yet showing a creamy rounded mid-palate with great texture and a lingering, notably pleasing finish.
