Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Oakville opens with a black cherry and blackberry bouquet with hints of oak and sun-dried tomato. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, polished, nicely balanced, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a complex blend of oak, graphite, and black currant with notes of black licorice, black olive, and oolong tea. The finish is dry and moderate dusty tannins stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with Roy’s rib roast or braised short ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
