Wine Review: This Carneros Chardonnay is straw-yellow in color and presents with aromas of cereal grain and lemon balm. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied with flavors of Meyer lemon and white grapefruit forming a tangy citrus core, followed by flavors of caraway seed and white tea. Its mineral-driven acidity keeps the flavors dancing around and the modest oak treatment affords depth and structure. Serve with an endive salad with walnuts, pears and crumbled Maytag blue cheese. – Jeoff
