Wine Review: This pale straw colored Chardonnay open with a very mild lemon bouquet with a hint of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and fresh. The flavor profile is a mineral infused light lemon with hints of Anjou pear and white pepper. The finish is dry and very refreshing. This Chard is very food friendly and would pair well with linguini and clam sauce with a garlic broth. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Delicate aromas of lemon curd, stone fruit and quince begin the nose of this inviting Etude Chardonnay. Honeydew, melon and pear along with subtle floral notes of jasmine comprise the aroma which represents a broader spectrum in recent vintages. On the palate, the wine has fullness and present minerality. This vintage features acidity leveraged for aging and demonstrates distinctive complexity of flavors that will evolve in the bottle, and the glass, as well as on the generous finish.
