Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Merlot opens with a stony minerality and cranberry bouquet with hints of cinnamon and tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a graphite and stewed black plum blend with notes of black currant and cedar. I also detected some hints of loam, clove, and anise. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins stick around for an extended period of time. I would decant this organic and bold Merlot before pairing it with a NY Strip steak. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Distinctive ruby color. In the nose it presents a fascinating bouquet violets and fruity nuances of blackcurrant, plumb, blueberry, licorice as well as black pepper hints. Elegant and enveloping in the mouth with a pleasant structure. No sulfites added.
