Wine Review: This hazy and very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with black cherry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of coffee ground and pine resin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with zesty acidity. The mouthfeel is round, juicy, and mouthwatering for a Cab. The flavor profile is stewed red plum, pomegranate, and graphite blend with notes of mulling spices and oak. We also picked up some hints of black tea and apple skins. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity and moderate tannins are nicely prolonged. The Tasting Panel would pair this Cab with a three meat Bolognese or with a marinated skirt steak with garlic mashed potatoes. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Features a nice dark core of cassis and creamed plum notes laced with violet, graphite, and juniper hints. The finish flows clean, fruity, elegant and a lovely balance.
