Wine Review: This midnight purple colored wine opens with a blackberry, black olive and toasted oak bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral influenced black olive and blackberry blend with notes of sage. I also detected a hint of blueberry and dark cocoa towards the end. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and linger for quite as while. This wine would pair well with Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy - Ken
