Wine Review: This very slightly opaque and dark ruby colored red blend from Portugal opens with a mild blackberry and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is black plum with hints of gentle oak, faint blackberry and a touch of coffee. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Clear, deep red colour. Intense spicy aroma of mature red berry fruits with discrete oaky notes. Palate: Full bodied, compact and elegant with great balance. Firm tannins offering structure for bottle maturation. Ideal Consumption Date: 2013-2020
