Wine Review: This dark ruby colored wine from Navarra opens with a rose petal, cherry, and cinnamon stick bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and robust. The flavor profile is an oak influenced black plum and blackberry blend with notes of crush stone. The finish is dry and its well-managed grippy tannins linger and last for quite a while. This very nice Spanish red blend would pair well with a wild boar ragu. Enjoy – Ken and Mark
Winemaker Notes: Cherry red color covered. Fine and elegant on the nose, with balanced aromas of creamy, toasts and ripe fruit. An expressive wine with a lot of complexity. Powerful, fleshy, and full-bodied in the mouth, rich in nuances and with an elegant aftertaste. It will perfectly accompany red meats and game. In addition, it pairs perfectly well with aged and semi-aged sheep and blue cheeses.
