Wine Review: This almost clear colored Riesling from Eroica opens with a jasmine and lychee bouquet with hints of lime zest, gentle pineapple, white peach, and nectarine. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is smooth, slightly viscous, crisp, and fresh. The flavor profile is Meyer lemon and lime blend with notes of pineapple and white peach. We also detected hints of white tea, green apple, thyme, and saline. The finish is off-dry and refreshing. The Tasting Panel would serve this Riesling with Pam’s macaroons or with smooth brie cheese and honeycomb. Enjoy – KWGTP
