Wine Review: This opaque and deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Eponymous is impressive. It opens with a blackberry, graphite and oak bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well-balanced and round. The flavor profile is a graphite dust and mild blackberry blend with notes of toasted oak. I also detected hints of cassis, loam and plum. The finish is dry and its fine tannins fade away nicely. This refined styled Cabernet would par well with a filet mignon at your favorite steakhouse. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine shimmers with a stunning deep purple-inky color and exudes wonderful intensity and lovely complex notes as soon as the cork is pulled. Some of bounty of aromas are ripe plums, blackberries, cassis, and hints of violets, toasted rosemary and dark chocolate. The well-integrated fruit carries over to the palate, with wonderful balanced structure and ample but supple tannins that lead to a long-polished finish.
