Wine Review: This straw colored Gavi opens with a fragrant lime and Meyer lemon blend with a hint of ginger and honeydew melon. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied with crisp acidity. The flavor profile is chalky mineral infused almond with notes mild lime and saline. The finish is dry and his refreshing. This Gavi would pair well with linguini with garlic and wine broth. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our 2018 Gavi is straw-yellow colored with typical greenish hues. On the nose, it is delightful, featuring wildflowers, almonds scents, white and yellow fruits such as apple, pear, white plum and gooseberry. On the palate, it is fresh, dry, intense, harmonic and pleasantly fruity. It is smooth with a good body, well-balance acidity and a pleasant mineral aftertaste. It pairs with cold starters and seafood. Also excellent with sushi or sashimi.
