Wine Review: From the Wagner Family in CA, this very dry sparkler is a golden yellow color with a pink tinge and lots of medium bubbles in the glass It has a complex bouquet which includes brioche, white peach, pear, light red berries, orange blossom, and a savory cream cheese note. On the palate, this wine is Old-World styled, very frothy, medium minus bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy and refreshing, with a pleasant bitter note. There are flavors of peach, crisp pear, wet stone, and hints of raspberry and lemon, Lovely long crisp finish. Pair with mini crab cake appetizers. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: Scents of vanilla wafer, lemon curd, Honey Crisp apple, honeysuckle, and a hint of jasmine. Flavors of apple, wafer citrus, and zesty ocean breeze. The mouthfeel is creamy and has depth. Extremely fine bubbles provide elegance. Pair with sushi, caviar, truffle popcorn or a charcuterie board.
