Wine Review: This straw colored Pinot Blanc is one of the better North American Pinot Blancs I can remember covering. It opens with a mild pineapple like bouquet with a hint of lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly creamy, and is nicely balanced between its fruit and mild acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused green apple with a touch of peach and lemon. The finish is dry and refreshing, but subtle. The panel thought this offering would pair nicely with chicken cordon bleu, ham or baked brie. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Completing the third leg of our trilogy, Pinot Blanc is true to our style of white wines; clean, crisp and focused on the fruit. While great ripeness is apparent in this wine, lean, and racy also describes the 2008 Pinot Blanc.
