Wine Review: This pale white gold colored Pinot Blanc from the Willamette Valley opens with a shy honeydew melon and jasmine bouquet with hints of white pepper, lemon verbena and green apple skin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, crisp, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a strong green tea and green apple blend with notes of stone dust and white peach. We also picked up some hints of lemon-lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot Blanc with a crab cocktail or with fried scallops. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
