Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from the Yamhill-Carlton region in Oregon opens with a black cherry and moist pipe tobacco bouquet with hints of black tea and red licorice. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, mouthwatering, and zesty. The flavor is a stewed black plum and black cherry blend with notes of tobacco, black pepper, and oak. I also detected hints of crushed stone in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its managed fine tannins and flavors are nicely sustained. I would pair this very good Pinot with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of black cherry, clove, blackberry bramble and dark chocolate introduce this richly structured wine with rounded tannins and intense flavors of ripe blackberry, cassis, dried sage and tobacco.
