Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Elk Cove opens with pomegranate and black raspberry bouquet with hints of red plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and delicate with rounded edges. The flavor profile is pomegranate and juicy red plum blend with notes of black cherry. We also detected hints of nutmeg and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Pinot with tuna sushi or poached salmon. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Lush aromas of huckleberry, licorice and violet introduce this pretty wine. Generous strawberry on the palate is complemented by grainy tannins with flavors of bay leaf, cocoa, and black tea.
