Wine Review: This faint white gold colored Pinot Gris from Elk Cove opens with a wet stone and green melon bouquet with a hint of green apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and appears to be a tad off-dry. The flavor profile is very tropical featuring tasty ripe mango and peach flavors with notes of nicely integrated minerality and a hint of pineapple. The finish is dry and its fades away nicely. I would pair this very good Pinot Gris with a grilled halibut. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Golden straw in color, this fresh white wine approaches with aromas of Asian pear, honeydew melon and hints of lemon thyme and ginger. The palate bursts with star fruit, tangerine and apple pie mingling with notes of pithy lemon-peel and white tea.
