Wine Review: This bright red colored Pinot Noir was my favorite from an impressive flight of 2015 single vineyard offerings from Elk Cove. It opens with a fragrant cherry and blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and silky. The flavor profile is a very tasty cherry and mineral blend with notes of blueberry. I also detected hints of gentle plum and a touch of cola. The finish is dry and its moderate well-managed tannins are super extended for a Pinot. I would suggest enjoying this Excellent Pinot with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A heady nose of blackberry, lavender and leather invites a rich, savory palate of dusty black currant and ripe raspberry. A fresh saline backbone adds depth and interest with prosciutto and earthy wild game.
