Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon was a real crowd pleaser. It opens with a very attractive cherry-cola bouquet with hints of black raspberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum with hints of oak, black currant, and cola. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are nicely prolonged. This Pinot is very food friendly and would pair well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of candied plums, sarsparilla and rose lead to a well-harmonized palate. This is a classic marine-sediment Pinot with dense, dark fruit that's also graceful and focused. A huge, intense wine with a solid structure of really ripe tannins, this wine keeps lingering long after each taste.
