Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Anderson Valley opens with a black cherry and teaberry bouquet with hints of black raspberry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, soft and round. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, very smooth and refined. The flavor profile is a tasty cherry-vanilla and plum blend with notes of RC Cola. I also detected a hint of milk chocolate and some stony minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with a tender and juicy pork loin roast. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: High Haven opens with aromas of black cherry and cola with rich butterscotch and roasted whole vanilla pod accents. Ripe raspberry, fig bar, and allspice flavors are supported by bright acidity and integrated tannins which lead to a structured finish.
