Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a blueberry, fresh sliced strawberry, and milk chocolate bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with notes of integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is very nicely balanced, super smooth and graceful. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of concentrated boysenberry and oak with notes of black cherry, vanilla, cinnamon, and clove. The finish is dry, and its fruit flavors linger and last for a very long time. This Pinot is for fans who like a lot of fruit and flavors. I would drink it on its own by the fireplace this winter. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Cusp fully embraces the tension between Russian River fog and Sonoma sunshine. A proudly new-world Pinot, with a full, round body; beautifully balanced and unexpectedly complex. It opens with aromas of concentrated Bing cherry pie filling and bright cranberry are interwoven with soft vanilla, baking spices, spun sugar and a hint of gently worn leather. Bright Bing cherry flavors on the front palate are balanced by a weightier yet elegant mid palate, which leads to a lingering, mouthwatering finish.
