Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from Napa opens with a gooseberry and passion fruit bouquet with hints of lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright and zesty. The flavor profile is a tangy lime, gooseberry and stony minerality blend with notes of white pepper and saline. I also detected hints of green apple and passion fruit. The finish is dry and refreshing. This is a very nice summer wine. I would serve it with grilled trout. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2022 Ehlers Estate Sauvignon Blanc is a pale-yellow wine with super intense aromas of peach, citrus, grapefruit, honeydew melon, vanilla, and white flowers. Mouthfeel is pleasantly velvety despite the tart acidity in the long finish. Freshly cut grass, lemon tart, orange candy, and lime zest, with some tropical peachy finish. Great mouthfeel and complexity, but vibrant acidity.
