Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a mild lemon and apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a pleasant green apple with hints of mild grapefruit and gentle minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors linger slightly. This Sauvignon Blanc would pair well with fish. I would have with Ritz crackers encrusted baked haddock. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our Edna Valley Vineyard 2013 Sauvignon Blanc is well-balanced with rich citrus and tropical fruit flavors. Concentrated fruit aromas of orange zest, grapefruit and lime are complemented by notes of fresh cut grass. Bright acidity makes the wine crisp and adds length and minerality to the finish.
