Wine Review: This white gold colored Pinot Gris from Eden Rift opens with a fragrant Bosc pear bouquet with hints of pineapple and ginger. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, fresh, and savory. The flavor profile is stony minerality and pear blend with notes of ginger ale and chamomile tea. We also detected some hints of green apple, saline, oregano, and traces of peach. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger for a bit. We would pair this Pinot Gris with pan-fried walleye or blackened catfish with asparagus risotto. Enjoy – KWGTP
