Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Eden Rift opens with a loam and mild cranberry bouquet with hints of black cherry and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth, supple, and polished. The flavor profile is loam and red plum blend with notes of stone dust and red cherry. We also detected hints of black tea and pomegranate. The finish is dry and its flavors and well-managed fine tannins drift away nicely. We would drink this very versatile and wonderful Pinot on its own or with Thanksgiving dinner or braised rabbit.
