Wine Review: This ruby colored Red blend opens with a mild blackberry bouquet with a hint of leather and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with a touch of oak and black raspberry. The finish is dry and its mild tannins are a little sticky. I would pair this wine with Theresa's meatloaf. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Rich, dark tones of new leather and cigar wrapper are on par with deep blackcurrant and dried plum tones. Rich and full-textured, with firm tannins that should allow for mid-term cellaring. Pairs well with rich meats – duck, lamb, venison, beef; even grilled Portobello mushrooms.
