Wine Review: This deep gold colored Chardonnay opens with a toasted coconut and lemon bouquet with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with notes of plus acidity. The flavor profile is a pineapple and coconut blend with notes of banana, baking spices, lemon zest, hazelnut and oak. The finish is dry and its acidity keeps it nicely refreshing for a Chard. As a result, this is a nice summer option to consider. I would serve it cool with chicken cordon bleu. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine combines the lusciousness and freshness we love in Green Valley Chardonnay. The nose leads with tangerine, apricot, and kiwi fruit, accented by lemon oil, orange blossom, and hazelnut. In the mouth, the fruit/floral and bright/rich theme continues, with the lychee and Meyer lemon top notes joined by Asian pear and Gravenstein apple, framed with honeysuckle and gardenia.
