Wine Review: This pale ruby colored Pinot Noir opens with a strawberry and pomegranate bouquet with hints of red raspberry tea. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, nicely balanced and quite smooth for a Pinot. The flavor profile is spiced red plum and loam blend with notes of teaberry. We also detected hints of raspberry tea, rhubarb and pomegranate. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. The Panel would pair this Pinot with duck and porcini ravioli, veal Milanese or lamb chops. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The final wine has all the Devil's Gulch fruit and spice characters we love, along with that wonderful combination of power and fineness. The nose leads with sweet wild berries in the forest, ringed with nutmeg and cinnamon. A mélange of brambly berries and redwood duff follows in the mouth that is silky and deep. There's a great breadth and density that keeps luring you back for more and reminds you that this is a wine you’ll want to keep trying over the years. Enjoy it now with bacon-stuffed mushrooms or lamb meatloaf.
