Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark purple colored Syrah opens with a fragrant black raspberry and oak bouquet with a hint of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balance, and luscious. The flavor profile is black raspberry with notes of oak and blueberry. I also detected a hint of black pepper in the background. The finish is dry and its mild oak tannins linger slightly. This Syrah would pair well with slow cooked beef brisket. Enjoy - Ken
