Wine Review: The dark ruby colored Malbec from Argentina opens with a shy stewed black plum and blackberry bouquet with hints of black coffee and graphite. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and refined. The flavor profile is a tasty blackberry tea and stewed black plum with notes of cocoa powder and candied violets. I also detected some hints of graphite and red licorice. The finish is dry, and its fruit, acidity and gentle tannins linger nicely. I would pair this Malbec with your favorite tangy pulled pork dish. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The plum and light bubblegum aromas are attractive and follow through to a medium body with slice berries, orange peel and fresh acidity at the finish.
