Wine Review: This faint white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc is a crowd pleasing wine. It opens with a pleasant mild apple bouquet with a hint of grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and round. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe pear with hints of pineapple, tangerine, and green apple. There is also just a touch of minerality as well. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc would be ideal with shrimp scampi. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2013 growing season delivered a vibrant and aromatic expression of Sauvignon Blanc with lovely layers of mango and papaya, balanced by notes of citrus zest and orange blossom. On the palate, this wine is soft and velvety with flavors of white peach, grapefruit and melon leading to a long, crisp finish.
