Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cab opens with a mild red currant bouquet with a hint of dried cranberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a mild black currant and plum blend with a hint of oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite a while. This Cab would pair well with pot roast. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, cigar box, toffee and mint lead to fresh dark berry and red currant flavors and hints of dried herbs. The palate is soft and inviting, and the finish offers lingering notes of fruit, caramel and almond.
