Wine Review: This dark red colored blend seems to be at the top of the Zin blends every vintage. This vintage of Paraduxx is no exception as it was the top scorer in its mini-blind flight. It opens with a reticent black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very well balanced, and approachable. The flavor profile is a very tasty mild black cherry and blueberry blend with notes of spice and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are tingly and show nice length. This blend is very food friendly and we thought it would pair very well with pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark, deep, vibrant red color. Aromas of raspberry, cherry, cedar, spice, caramelized brown sugar, and sweet oak accented by a hint of white pepper. Dark cherry and raspberry flavors mingle with rich, compelling layers of blueberry, cedar and molasses. Smooth entry followed by a full mid-palate with integrated nuances of fruit and oak leading to a long finish with balanced resolved tannins.
