Wine Review: This straw and slightly green tinged colored Sauvignon Blanc from Dry Creek opens with a fragrant gooseberry and white grapefruit bouquet with hints of nectarine pit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild Squirt soda and saline blend notes of mild lime and chalky minerality. I also detected hints celery and white pepper. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Sauvignon Blanc is versatile and food friendly. I would pair it with a grilled swordfish sandwich. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: In expressing Dry Creek Valley's unique terroir, this Sauvignon Blanc presents refreshing aromas of passionfruit, guava, pineapple, lemongrass, and cucumber. On the palate, flavors of honeydew melon, peach and tangerine come through with floral tones and a slightly creamy yet lively finish. Stainless steel fermentation was supplemented with small amounts of acacia, French oak and chestnut barrels, adding extra character and nuance.
