Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc opens with a grapefruit and peach pit bouquet with hints of cut grass, bee’s wax and lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, low acidity, balanced, clean and approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle ruby grapefruit and subtle mineral blend with notes of lime zest. We also detected hints of peach pit and white tea. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. The Panel would pair this Sauvignon Blanc with fish tacos, pan-seared scallops or poached lemon sole. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Our Dry Creek Valley Sauvignon Blanc incorporates small amounts of Sauvignon Musqué and Sauvignon Gris, which adds a layer of depth and a fleshy, full-bodied mouthfeel. At first swirl, this wine presents tropical aromas of pineapple, passionfruit, white peach and Meyer lemon. On the palate, flavors of lime, nectarine, mango and honeysuckle come through with a slightly creamy, but lively finish. Stainless steel fermentation was supplemented with small amounts of chestnut, acacia and French oak barrels adding additional character and nuance to this delicious wine. Seamless from start to finish, this is an elegant and refined Sauvignon Blanc.
