Wine Review: This very enjoyable Merlot has some good structure to it. It is dark garnet in color. It has a complex bouquet of dark raspberry, blueberry, dry leaves, smoke and slate. It is savory and dry with a medium body and soft tannins. Flavors of blueberry, spice, black tea with a hint of mocha. The dark berry finish lingers nicely. Pair this Merlot with a lamb burger with feta and tzatziki. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: This Merlot opens with aromas of blueberry, subtle spice and rose petals with hints of cocoa. Balanced in style, this wine is structured, yet lively. Pairs well with savory dishes like lamb, mushroom risotto, and even dishes with rich soy-based sauces.
