Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Drew opens with an inviting mild black raspberry bouquet with hints of boysenberry. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and very approachable. The flavor profile is a tasty spiced plum with notes of gentle oak, pomegranate and black raspberry. I also picked up some hints of minerality and black pepper towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors and medium tannins are nicely prolonged. I would pair this very good Pinot with a pork tenderloin with a sage and fig sauce. Enjoy - Ken
