Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Drew is another winner from their 2013 portfolio. It opens with a pleasant boysenberry and lilac bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, juicy and very approachable. The flavor profile is red raspberry with notes of cola. I also detected hints of red plum, strawberry and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors linger and last for quite some time. This Pinot would pair perfectly with pork medallions with Pinot Noir cherry pan sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark red with light purple rim. Aromas of sage, bakers chocolate, cherry, red pepper corn and black olive, cured meat and lilac. On the palate there are dense raspberries, game, fresh loam, violets and mineral quartz with citrus rind notes on the finish.
