Wine Review: This brilliant white gold colored Spatlese level Riesling opens with an inviting mild pear and lychee bouquet with hint of tangerine. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, sweet and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a sweet tea and lemon blend with hints of orange. The finish remains sweet and rolls away nicely. This really nice Riesling borders on being a dessert wine. It is pretty sweet. Fans of this style will love this wine. Pair it with sliced sharp cheddar cheese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The Doctorberg brings us the most powerful wines in our lineup. With the deep layer of decomposed slate and its old vines it gets the backbone that is needed for aging.
