Wine Review: This shiny white gold colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a green apple and geranium bouquet with a hint of yellow grapefruit and lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with well-managed medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, slightly creamy, and wonderfully bright. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon-lime and yellow grapefruit blend with notes of stony minerality and green apple. We also detected hints of ginger and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Riesling broiled scallops or with a pork schnitzel. Enjoy – KWGTP
