Wine Review: This very pale straw-colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen is excellent! It opens with lime and sea breeze bouquet with hints of chalky minerality. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round and very bright. The flavor profile is a chalky minerality and lime blend with notes of grapefruit and saline. I also detected hints of white peach and green apple. The finish is dry and very refreshing. I would drink this Riesling on its own. With food I pair this wine with broiled scallops. Enjoy - Ken
