Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a lemon-lime and grapefruit bouquet with hints of wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied and pretty sweet with elevated acidity that makes it bright and refreshing. The flavor profile is similar to the nose. Lemon, lime, and apricot flavors lead the way. There also is nicely integrated crushed stone minerality and green apple mixed in. The finish remains sweet and its flavors subtly fade away. This is a nice summer wine to sip chilled on a hot day. Enjoy - Ken
