Wine Review: This pale straw-colored entry-level Riesling from Dr. Loosen opens with a nose of doughy lemon squares, honeysuckle, clover flowers and spice. We found this medium bodied wine to be creamy, round and juicy on the palate with nicely integrated minerality. The flavors consisted of sweet apple, light citrus and ginger ale. The finish is crisp, lively and fades away nicely. We would recommend serving this very good Riesling with sweet potato, ginger and lime soup with crispy fried shallots. - Karen & Stuart
